cynwyd kashmir

My town, Bala Cynwyd (pronounced kinwood), located less than a mile from the Philadelphia city limits, was settled in 1682 by Welsh Quakers. The settlers established hamlets and mills on this beautiful rolling land where they enjoyed religious freedom and a lovely lifestyle. Reading about our community is like opening up an American history book and the best part is that all the generations who have since lived here have lovingly maintained, restored and protected this gem. I love the old neighborhoods with the stone houses, walls and walkways; the parks that dot the banks of the Schuylkill River; the old train stations and bridges that made the Main Line famous; and the high standards of our award-winning Lower Merion public schools...we truly are very lucky to live here. Another wonderful thing that originates in Wales are these gorgeous Kashmir goats and the wonderful clothing that is woven from these threads...

the goats themselves in their habitat...they just live in squalor, right?
