Philly friday

GEMELLI BYOB, 232 Woodbine Avenue, Narberth, PA, 610•660•0160 This neighborhood byob in Old Narberth is warm, cozy and friendly. Chef Clark Gilbert always says hello before he gets to work preparing you a lovely meal in his restaurant's open kitchen. This guy is the real deal, named "one of the city's most talented chefs" by Philadelphia Inquirer critic Craig LaBan.

He's had some prestigious gigs, starting out under Chef Jean Francois Taquet, moving on to the Fountain Room, Four Seasons, Sheraton Rittenhouse Sq., the Saloon and byob Avalon. Originally from the Main Line, he grew up in Wynnewood, attended Lower Merion High School and now lives in Narberth. How lucky we are to have you back!!  We usually share the mussels (divine), the NY Strip (cooked to perfection) and the bread pudding (decadent and sinful). Oh and don't forget the cello!  Reservations recommended, cash only.
